Oracle of the Void

Card fields: Dune CCG

Open in Oracle of the Void

What each field of a Dune CCG card holds. Use these names in the All box, for example clan:crab. Each game has its own fields.

Card fields

One value (or list) for the whole card.

allegiance
Allegiance (House Atreides, The Spacing Guild...; None).
arbitration
Arbitration.
autoscript
Script for an online client (OCTGN-style automation); not shown.
battle
Battle.
command
Command.
conditionalvalues
Per numeric field, the value the card has in a deck that meets a condition, from its text: {"cost": [{"value": "2", "when": {"clan": ["Scorpion"]}}]} (Complications: 2 less Gold for Scorpion Clan players). when: clan (the deck Stronghold's clan, as its mon names it), sensei (the Sensei's title) or stronghold (the Stronghold's title); any listed value matches, the first matching entry wins. Not searched: min/max search keeps the printed value. For the deck view.
deck
Which deck: House or Imperial.
deploymentcost
Deployment cost.
dueling
Dueling.
formattedtitle
The title with markup (HTML entities such as • for the bullet, bold, accents). Shown in place of title where set. This is the preferred way to make sure cards display with accented characters, etc.
intrigue
Intrigue.
needsreview
Open questions about the card for maintainers, one plain-text reason per entry; shown only to maintainers and searchable with Advanced → Needs review. Remove an entry once it's settled (docs/admin/needsreview.md).
notes
Free-text notes shown on the card page (release details, promo packs, oddities). A list of strings, one note each.
operation
The card's game text (Dune's name for text).
prescience
Prescience.
resistance
Resistance.
ruling
Official rulings about the card, one HTML string each, usually ending in a link to the source; the links open in a popup on the card page (docs/admin/rulings.md). An erratum starts with "Erratum:".
rulingref
The rules team's answers to players' questions about the card (Rules Q&A), one HTML string each: <b>Q:</b> ... <b>A:</b> ... then a link to the answer in a copy of its source (L5R: the 2000-2006 mailing-list rules digests). The card page shows a button with the count that opens the list (docs/admin/rulings.md, "Rules Q&A").
subtype
Subtypes (Personnel, Troop, Battalion...).
talentrequirement
Talent requirement with its value ("Intrigue 3").
talentrequirementbase
Talent requirement without value ("Intrigue"), for search; goes with talentrequirement.
text
The rules text, as HTML (<b> for bold keywords and trait names, <br> between abilities). The most recent (MRP) wording; a printing's own text field holds older wordings.
title
The card's name, as printed (a list of one string). Searches, lists and deck exports use it.
twoeye
The card's record from the Two-Eye database ({Name, Set}), kept for matching against it (ootv-backups two-eye scripts).
type
The card type (Personality, Holding, Action...), a list of one string; picked from the game's Type list in search.
variablevalues
Per numeric field, the values the card can really have when the printed one is *, X or 2*: {"cost": ["0-6"]} (a range), ["2", "0"] (either), ["1+"] (1 or more). Replaces the printed value's rule in min/max search.
weirding
Weirding.

Printing fields

Each printing (version) of a card has its own. The All box can't search these: use the search form's boxes (why).

artist
The artist credit, a list of names as credited. Put doubts in the card's needsreview rather than guessing.
back
The card whose image is this printing's back, as ["<cardid>"] (L5R backs: 12664 to 12668, Oracle of the Void set), or ["none"] for no back. Leave it out to get the standard back from the game config's cardbacks rules; set it only where they are wrong. A front with its own back image (side: "back", or doublesided) uses that instead.
doublesided
"1" when the printing has exactly two images, a front and its own back (image[1]): the Ivory, Twenty Festivals and Onyx strongholds. Same as "side": "back" on image[1], which new data uses instead. The card page shows the back as a thumbnail under the front, and the PDF prints it (as its own card, or behind the front with Backs: Duplex).
flavor
Flavor text as printed, as HTML (usually in <i>).
foil
Foil finish. Left out: regular only. "foil": this printing only came in foil (a foil that differs from the regular card, or a foil-only card). "both": this printing came in regular and in foil (an identical foil is not its own printing). Every game uses these values; list entries pick not foil / foil / either.
image
The printing's images, front first: one {select, details, master} entry per image, naming files in the imagehash directory. Leave it out (with imagehash) when there's no scan (although an empty array should work shortly). Edit with Upload image rather than by hand. A printed back (a stronghold's story or mon back) is the entry right after its front, with "side": "back"; any other extra entry is another print of this printing (shown as Print 1 of 2, 2 of 2).
imagecleaned
Where this printing's image came from when its watermark was removed (e.g. a ccgtrader scan cleaned by a fan site), one plain-text note per image; internal, not on card pages. Marks images to replace with a clean scan of our own; remove it when the image is replaced.
imagehash
The image directory (under images.oracleofthevoid.com/<game>/) holding this printing's image files, usually the set's code. Goes with image.
notes
Notes about this printing only (where it was released, print run, misprints). A list of strings.
notmrp
true: this printing is never picked as the card's most recent printing (MRP) for an arc or format, e.g. a later reprint that shouldn't stand for the arc. Leave it out rather than false. Make MRP removes it. This applies mostly to Legality-based searches not pulling in random starter reprints.
number
The collector number printed on the card, within its set.
printedtext
The text as printed, where it differs from the card's operation text.
rarity
The printing's rarity in its set (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Fixed, Promo...), a list; several values when one printing covers versions that differ only in rarity or typesetting.
set
The set this printing came in, a list of one string, matching a set name in the game's Set list (the structure config). Required.
text
This printing's own rules text, as printed on it, when it differs from the card's. The card holds the most recent (MRP) version; the site shows this one in printed mode.
title
This printing's own title, as printed on it, when it differs from the card's. The card holds the most recent (MRP) version; the site shows this one in printed mode.
type
This printing's own card type, as printed on it, when it differs from the card's. The card holds the most recent (MRP) version; the site shows this one in printed mode.
