Rules Q&A
- Q: Do note that there are some cards which require the discarding of the favor but are not themselves favor actions because it's not a cost, but part of the action (for instance, the Onyx experienced version of Otomo Suikihime, can't recall the number)
A: Yes, some Onyx actions let you discard the Favor as a conditional effect to get bonus effects, but because that is not a cost of the action, it doesn't make the action "Favor". Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 13 Sep 2024 - Q: Yes, but not by lobbying. You can only lobby once. However, there are other effects that will give you the favor (ivory courtroom, Otomo Suikihime, Crane box, etc) Yes. meaning if the stars aligned, and Crane had enough Favor outlets for it, they could theoretically use 9 Favor Actions in one turn. not feasible, likely or good but 9 actions while only Lobbying once.
A: helps you play Ring of Super-Air Jeff Williamson, "Onyx Lives #rules-questions", 22 Jul 2024 - Q: If it's before the colon (the ":" for the non-native-English speakers), it's a Favor action. If it's after (Such as one of the two options for the action on Otomo Suikihime - exp 2), it's not a Favor action
A: (Also, if the text before the colon is "X or [Favor]", it's only a Favor action if you pay that cost. If you pay the other alternate cost, it's not.) Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 14 Apr 2024
