- Q: EE, Ronin Ambushers: "After this card bows: Straighten it and, if you do not control a Terrain, negate its (future) straightening until the phase ends.". I am not sure I understand the final part. Does it mean that, if you don't control a terrain, the follower will only apply the straightening effect once, but if you control a terrain, they straighten every time?
A: Mostly yes. If the trait ever triggers at a time you don't control a Terrain, it will cease "working" thereafter for the remainder of the phase. Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 7 May 2025
