Rules Q&A
- Q: If i use taskmaster while wide valley in play, will the follower destruction be negated? What if i play harsh taskmaster before wide valley in play, will the destruction be negated as well?
A: The trait on Wide Valley will trigger if it is in play when the destruction effect is applied, ie when the follower is about to be destroyed. It does not matter when the destruction effect was activated, ie whether Wide Valley or Harsh Taskmaster was played first. Alex Jones, "Harsh Taskmaster & Wide Valley", 11 Dec 2012
