Rules Q&A
- Q: I a player plays Urgency's Open and within the limit of 2 non-reactions each some player also plays Urgency's Open, will each player be able to play 2 or more non-reaction actions (again) ? I have a feeling the first Urgency's limit to the number of actions would be overridden by the second but I'm not quite sure.
A: The effect of a later Urgency does not conflict with the earlier one: it adds an upper limit on the number of actions that may be taken. When multiple limits exist, they all apply. Alex Jones, "Big Urgency", 25 Oct 2012 - Q: Hello,
Let's say I play Urgency in the Action phase. My opponent then plays Ambush.
Am I right in assuming that I will be able to play only up to 2 Battle actions and he will play up to 1 Battle action during the Ambush ?
If yes, that means that the Action will be over once the Ambush is over, provided we took all our available actions during the Ambush ?
Thank you for your answer.
Urgency Open: Each player may only take two more non-Reaction actions this phase.
Ambush Limited: Choose your performing unbowed Personality and target another player's Personality: Create a battlefield (not at any province). Assign your Personality to attack there. Assign the target to defend there, even if he is bowed. Other Personalities will not move there. Fight a battle there (after this action's resolution). After the battle ends, lose 5 Honor.
A: The battle created by Ambush is resolved during the Action Phase, so Battle actions taken in the battle will count towards the limit of two more non-Reactions each. Alex Jones, "Urgency and Ambush", 23 Oct 2012
