Rules Q&A
- Q: 1. Blessed Dojo + Facing Your Devils.. Does the Shugenja targeted with BD get the +2 Chi bonus during the Duel created by FYD?
A: Yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 24 March 2003", 25 Mar 2003 - Q: A shugenja receives a chi bonus from Blessed Dojo or Doji Akiko before casting Facing Your Devils, the challenged controller accepts the duel. My question is how high is the chi of the caster for the purposes of the duel - his printed value or does it include the chi bonus form BD or Akiko.
A: The duel is an effect of the kiho, so any Chi bonuses the caster gets for kihos lasts for the entire duel. Jeff Alexander, "post for 11-12 September 2002", 13 Sep 2002 - Q: On the card Blessed Dojo: http://imperialassembly.com/oracle/#cardid=1027
"Repeatable Battle/Open, w: Target a Personality. When performing a Spell or Kiho action (this turn), he has +2C until the action ends."
Is attaching a spell considered a "Spell action"?
A: A "Spell action" is an action taken from an ability on a Spell.
Attaching a Spell is usually done via the Rulebook Equip ability, so it is not a Spell action. Alex Jones, "Attaching and "Spell Action"", 21 Feb 2015
