Rules Q&A
- Q: I saw a thread about this card but I think the question was left unanswered, or at least ambiguously so, since I believe it was asked in the Emperor-Ivory transition.
Riot In the Second City Limited: Each player targets and bows an unbowed Samurai.
If I have no unbowed Samurai, I (very clearly) must target one of my opponent's unbowed Samurai. Must then my opponent also target one of his unbowed Samurai (if one is available to target)?
A: Yes, that is correct. The most efficient way to run Riot in the Second City is in a deck with no legal targets yourself, so it will always bow two of your opponent's Samurai. Jon Palmer, "Riot in the Second City", 6 Sep 2014
