Rules Q&A
- Q: Hi rules team! Its been awhile! Hope you are all well!
Anyway. I was playing my monksai and I noticed with regards to Palm Strike its ability.
Kiho Battle: Target your unbowed Monk without a Weapon. Bow a target enemy Personality without a Weapon.
Now, because it does not specify unbowed monk personality can I target an unbowed monk follower, such a Fudo's Fiends or Brothers of Jade as they would be both an unbowed monk and without a weapon and then resolve the rest of my actions?
Thanks for everything!
A: You may indeed target your Monk Follower with Palm Strike. Alex Jones, "Palm Strike and Monk followers", 12 May 2014 - Q: Hi,
I have this follower in the current battlefield and is unbowed:
Fudo's Fiends Keywords Fudo • Monk • Expendable
Can I play this?
Palm Strike Kiho Battle: Target your unbowed Monk without a Weapon. Bow a target enemy Personality without a Weapon.
Thank you
A: Yes, you can.
There is no prohibition against targeting Followers with Kiho Strategies, if the Follower has the proper keyword(s). Brook Cunningham, "Kihos with followers", 26 Jan 2014
