Rules Q&A
- Q: [3D] Silk and Shadow Palace: - with Honesty: at less than 9 Honor: Does it then gain honor equal to printed Chi or does the trait overwrite it with current Chi? - with Strength of the Divine: Can the trait be used to give the personality +2 Chi instead of +2 PH
A: 1. Printed Chi. The Stronghold only substitutes "Chi" for "PH". Nothing alters the preceding "printed" adjective.
2. No, giving a bonus to a stat is not "checking" it. The Stronghold can however have it check Chi for the MA. Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 27 Oct 2026
