Nicolas Bongiu-sama during Questions and Answers on EC2013 said "There is not Unaligned stonghold in the base set in Ivory. As you know, due to GenCon results Foothold of the Mad is gonna be legal, though, so for the fans of Unaligned that will be an option." ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Gencon2013 was a Fudo victory, though. Bongiu-sama perhaps misspoke the name of the stronghold, but it was clear that either Foothold of the Mad (as spoken) or The False Path (as intended, IMO) was meant to be legal in Ivory (and not Ivory Extended).
If The False Path is illegal in Ivory, then perhaps Foothold of the Mad is? If neither - please explain what "legality" was speakin Bongiu-sama of? Thank you in advance.
A: Currently, neither The False Path nor Foothold of the Mad is a legal Stronghold for Ivory Edition; neither card has an Ivory Edition legality bug.
When or if either of the cards receives an errata or MRP to make the Stronghold legal, be sure we will announce it. Ben Higgins, "The False Path in Ivory Edition (follow up)", 10 Jan 2014
