Rules Q&A
- Q: Just a quick question: Are subtitles keywords? For example, does Mirumoto Tsuda exp. count as an Emerald Champion for the older Emerald Armor cards?
Thanks in advance.
A: The Emerald Armor • Experienced 2 attaches for free to Mirumoto Tsuda, the Emerald Champion • Experienced.
Subtitles are not keywords: they can't be copied by Myuken, for example, or the Water Dragon; they can't be removed by Dark Harmony; they can't be compared by Riddle of Rebirth.
However, like keywords and titles, they maybe be used to refer to a card, or class of cards. The Comprehensive Rules will be updated shortly to expand the definition of subtitles. Alex Jones, "Are subtitles keywords?", 19 May 2015
