Rules Q&A
- Q: Regarding the ruling on Cavalry Escort and Iweko Seiken, I assume if you use Cavalry Escort to recruit, say Kitsune Beiko and have the bear in the battlefield as well?
A: That's correct. Brook Cunningham, "Follow Up Question on Cavalry Escort and Recruiting", 2 Jul 2014 - Q: If you use Cavalry Escort to recruit Iweko Seiken, can you then also use his ability to recruit a non-unique samurai into the battlefield?
A: That is correct. Jon Palmer, "Cavalry Escort and Iweko Seiken", 23 Jun 2014 - Q: Iweko Seiken and Shibatsu both have the trait:
"Will not gain a clan alignment"
If I'm playing Journey's End Keep XP, are they my clan alignment, since it's printed on them and they aren't "gaining" it?
A: Correct. Brook Cunningham, "Iweko Seiken/Shibatsu and Journey's End Keep XP", 13 Feb 2014 - Q: Stronghold: The Shadowed Estate of the Scorpion Tireless Open: Name a Fate card, or name a Dynasty card in play. Negate the effects of the next action from a card with that title.

Question: If my opponent used his Stronghold for targeting on my Iweko Seiken, After that. Can dishonor to Iweko Seiken with Secrets on the Wind?
thanks for your answer!
A: No. The Shadowed Estate of the Scorpion only negates the effect of an action - it does not suppress a trait, such as Seiken's "will not be dishonored". Jon Palmer, "The shadowed Estate of the Scorpion v/s Iweko Seiken", 27 Jan 2014
