Rules Q&A
- Q: [OBH] Shadowlands Strongholds and starting honor from senseis: Do they alter it? What about cards like Keigo Sensei who sets starting starting honor at X?
A: Hrm. It doesn't seem OBH has any specific Rules addressing this. There were contemporary Rulings that SLH players could use Yori Sensei (and other Starting Honor reducing Sensei) without dropping them below -19, so I would generally consider that to mean the -19 unalterable by any Sensei means, including Keigo. I should probably add something to that effect to SLH Strongholds in Oracle, though; tack it on to their "can't gain/lose Honor" trait. 😦 Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 11 Apr 2025
