Rules Q&A
- Q: I have a question for Ivory/20F, does hida toranosuke have to be at home to use his ability? Or can it be anywhere as a battle action? And follow on if I have two copies in play am I allowed to use both copies same turn? In my current game I am attacking 3 province with cheap scouts l, after my opponent declares defenders, i can swap out my my big toranosuke units and their followers at the undefended provinces?
A: Specifically to your first part of the question, he does not have to be at Home; he could also be at the current battlefield and use his ability to leave. However, he cannot use it if he is at a non-current battlefield. Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 2 Mar 2026
