- In the case of a tie, the active player decides who loses honor first. [l5rinfo, 12/2/99] Accumulated Rulings, February 8, 2000, p. 19
- Clarified: in a tie, all tied players lose honor. Text Change & Errata List, February 15, 2000, p. 2
Rules Q&A
- Q: Is Breach of Etiquette considered Political?
A: No. It meets none of the criteria on page 33 to be "grandfathered" into being political, nor does it has any
Errata or MRP to be political. Martin Lund, "Rules for 13 May 2004", 16 May 2004 - Q: The shadowlands strongholds say cannot cause an unconditional honor loss, but could they still use cards like Breach of Etiquette since it does have a condition? That also would apply to cards like shame, so on and so forth.
A: An unconditional loss is one that WILL happen if the action is taken. Breach of Etiquette and Shame both cause unconditional losses. Iaijutsu Challenge is the canonical example of a card that causes a conditional loss -- its player does not know if the loss will occur or not. Jeff Alexander, "post for 29 April 2002", 30 Apr 2002
