Rules Q&A
- Q: Provoked Violence: Political Open (*) : Bow your target unbowed Courtier. Destroy a target attachment with Gold Cost less than or equal to the amount of Gold paid, plus 3 if you control a Yojimbo.
Incendiary Archers: Force 2/Chi 0 Gold Cost: 4 Battle, bow: Ranged 2 Attack. Battle: Fear 2.
If I want to destroy to follower Incendiary archers with Provoked Violence. How much gold should I pay, whether I have a Yojimbo and bow my courtier?
regards,
A: Well, first off, you have to have an unbowed Courtier to meet the action's required targeting at take it in Good Faith.
And if you control a Yojimbo, here's what you can do. Pay 1 Gold. Then, you can target any attachment with Gold Cost "less than or equal to the amount of Gold paid, plus 3 if you control a Yojimbo". You paid 1 (+3, you control a Yojimbo), so less than or equal to 4. Yay, dead Archers! Brook Cunningham, "Provoked Violence", 18 Apr 2014
