I do not understand the response to the question.
I am pretty sure I clearly stated that I was "paying" 1 gold for the EQUIP action.
I will step through the exact process:
1. Announce the Equip Action 2. Bow Abundant Farmlands to Produce 1 Gold and add it to the gold Pool 3. Choose to Pay 1 gold for the equip action, removing 1 gold from the gold pool 4. Resolve the remaining effects of the Equip Action, attaching the 0 gold cost follower Shield Wall.
5. I "Equiped" a follower "paying 1 or more gold" so Lonely Dojo gets +1 GP.
If the intent was to exclude 0 gold cost followers, then it should have been worded "After you Equip a Follower with 1 or more gold cost, gain +1 GP".
A: According to p36 of the Comprehensive Rules, the Equip ability is: Repeatable Open, (*): Attach an attachment card, with Gold Cost equal to the amount you paid, from your hand to your target Personality.
If you pay 1g when Equipping, you cannot choose a 0g Follower as the attachment. Alex Jones, "Lonely Dojo", 20 Nov 2014 - Q: Lonely Dojo:
Lonely Dojo says nothing about the gold cost of the follower attached, only the gold paid during the Equip action. If I Equip a 0 Gold Cost follower and pay 1 gold do I still get the +1 GP?
A: No, you don't. If you produce the Gold, but don't use it, you didn't "pay" it. Brook Cunningham, "Lonely Dojo", 20 Nov 2014
