• Q: (announcing Acrobat Troupe, reacting with Only Actions Speak, and Reacting with Hamstrung and overpaying for Hamstrung with Acrobat Troupe):
  (If) for some reason the Acrobat Troupe were straightened..., could the acrobat troupe honor gain ability be used since it wasn't fully used the first time?
  A: As the original thread said, you have a cost that has been interfered with. So you check the rules on cost interference:

• Q: What happens if I play Planned Adversity and search for an Acrobat Troupe but don't have the 6 gold to pay for the Troupe? Does the Troupe get discarded or shuffled back into the deck?
  Also, can I fail to find a holding to put into play even if I have one in the deck and can pay for it? Sometimes I just want to shuffle my dynasty deck.

  See Glossary, Search: If an effect directs a player to search for a card and play it, and it cannot be played, it is discarded instead. If a player searches for a particular description of card and does not select any, the search effect fails, with special consequences. For the rest of the game, any of his or her further attempts to search for that description of card will fail, even if a card matching that description re-enters the deck or other searched area. • Q: Only Actions Speak Text Reaction: After an action is announced: Negate all Honor gains until after the action's resolution. At that time if this negated any gains, negate all Honor gains until the end of this phase and draw a card. Battle: Choose your performing unbowed Personality: Bow a target enemy card with lower Force and without attachments. Bow its unit if your Personality has 7 or more base Force.
  Deeds and Words Bow this holding: Produce 2 Gold. Reaction: Before a player gains or loses Honor during the Action Phase, destroy this card: Reduce the gain or loss to 0.
  Hi,
  I bowed my Acrobat Troupe to gain 2 Honor. My opponent reacts with Only Actions Speaks. I react with my Deeds and Words, negating my Honor gain to 0.
  Question: 1) Will he still draw a card? 2) Can I still gain any honor afterwards, since the wording on Only Actions Speaks, he didn't negate any honor gain per se since I negated it via Deeds and Words.
