Rules Q&A
- Q: Battle: If any enemy units are at the current battlefield, target your unbowed Monk or Shugenja: Move him there. If he has the Water keyword, you may target another of your units and move it there. If it moved, straighten it.
That last sentence, "if it moved, straighten it." Does that apply only to the unit targetted with this part:
"you may target another of your units and move it there" ?
If it were to be broken down, and I chose not to target another of my units, would the straighten happen for my unbowed Monk or Shugenja's unit?
A: The "straighten it" clause is ONLY for the additional movement conditional on if the performing Monk or Shugenja as the Water keyword.
The Targeted (Performing) Monk or Shugenja will not straighten with Buoyed by the Kami. Dan Jacobson, "Buoyed by the Kami", 19 Jan 2009
