Rules Q&A
- Q: Wouldn't this interpretation of the rules make By Steel Redeemed effectively useless?
A: Not at all. "As if a samurai" means that it follows the rules for samurai seppuku allowed in the rulebook. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 4 October 2003", 4 Oct 2003 - Q: Kakita technique don't target. (by target rule #3) Towers of the Asako don't target.
By Steel Redeemed targets.
Why? What's the difference?
A: By Steel Redeemed does something to the Personality involved. Jeff Alexander, "post for 14 May 2003", 15 May 2003 - Q: 4)By Steel Redeemed -> targets your personality?
A: Yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 13 May 2003", 14 May 2003 - Q: Can you play this, if your personality is bowed when they cause the honor loss? Seppuku doesn't target?
A: Regular seppuku is not an action. By Steel Redeemed is. You cannot play it if the Personality is bowed. Jeff Alexander, "post for 12 May 2003", 13 May 2003
