Rules Q&A
- Q: In regards to http://www.alderac.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=115047 . Would a province strength enhancenent coming from a trait on a sensei, such as Dijuro Sensei, still be considered a modifier as a default rulebook effect? Would something like that be considered a bonus and be effected by Ruby Ascendance?
Thanks.
A: Traits that alter stats create bonuses or penalties. Alex Jones, "Ruby Ascendance and Sensei", 3 Sep 2015 - Q: Dijuro Sensei

Does Dijuro provide a +4 bonus to province strength, in addition to other bonuses provided by other fortifications; or does he cap the maximum province strength at +4 regardless of effects of other fortifications?
A: It will cap the maximum strength at printed + 4, including all effects. Jon Palmer, "Dijuro Sensei", 23 Mar 2015
