Rulings
- L5R uses “numeral” to refer to the value of numbers written as digits in text (for example, 2 but not “two”). 0 (zero) is not a positive numeral. Even though the Ranged Attack targets a Province it cannot destroy it. Thunderous Acclaim rulesheet, p. 1
Rules Q&A
- Q: Hi,
So quick question. Tsuruchi Akira's ranged ability states that "If this is not increased or combined, it can target a Province". If I was to use Yoritomo Hiromi's engage to give all my ranged attacks +1 strength would this count as the range being increased and as such mean that it could not target the province?
Thanks for your help.
A: You cannot target the province with Akira's action if you have taken Hiromi's action this battle. Alex Jones, "Yoritomo Hiromi/Tsuruchi Akira", 22 Jul 2015
