Rules Q&A
- Q: [ShE] I have dishonorable Togashi Uki and my opponent (who does not control an earth ring) raids me. Is it correct that he cannot use Sorrow's Debt to take control of Uki because she cannot attack?
A: That is not correct. He can use Sorrow's Debt to take control of Uki, and she will change sides.
The rules say that if you take control of a card at a battlefield, it goes over to your side/army. The game term to "attack" means to "assign, move, or enter play into an attacking army". The game term "move" is to change locations. Uki does not change locations by switching sides, therefore though she "will not attack", she may do this.
