Rules Q&A
- Q: The delayed targeting and the fact that overwhelmed makes your opponent target his own personalities are what complicate the card. So here’s a question for @Brook Cunningham ; would Break Ranks (pictured above) negate Overwhelmed? I’m thinking no since, at the ‘play interrupts’ timing window, Overwhelmed hasn’t targeted my opponent’s personality yet. If, on the other hand, Break Ranks creates a ‘floating effect’ then it would negate Overwhelmed once the targeting occurs.
