Q: [ShE]: When Wataru Sensei sets the Force of a Personality to X, does that overwrite (nullify) existing debuffs ?
A: To set a stat to a value, you give it a new bonus or penalty such that its current value will equal the new value.
So, as an example if you have a Personality with 2F printed and a +2F weapon, to set its Force to 3, you would give it a -1F penalty. Q: both are now 11F it works like this: 2 personalities, one has XF the other has YF, and X >= Y. Wataru Sensei lets you choose to have both personalities at eitehr XF or at YF, and if one is a Samurai and the other is a shugenja, you can choose between X+1F or Y+1F since the sensei does not specify any conditions to the Force, assume it's current Force (meaning including bonuses such as attachments or from Strategy cards)
