Rules Q&A
- Q: ShE - I Equip The Forgotten. After it enters play, if I trigger putting Ring of the Void into play, can I do so before The Forgotten's created Follower is created?
A: Yes. I'm not a huge fan of the wonky wording of Void, but it's basically a "when/now" trigger, which is before an "After" trigger. 🙂 Where you'll have a potential problem is with "Yu" triggers. They trigger before their triggering card leaves play, so if the "Yu" effect is one that creates a replacement for the dying card, it would do so before you could play the Ring. Although, a quick skim of the Oracle shows none exist yet; the two Yu Followers that create when they die make a Personality upon destruction.
