Rules Q&A
- Q: ShE question- Crane Stronghold and Iweko's shadow.
Let's presume that the Crane player uses a Wind to discard the favor, and the action is negated by Shadow. If the Crane player uses the SH reaction, who gets the favor?
A: Crane player. The sequence goes: Crane uses a Wind Favor action, discards Favor to pay its cost (now uncontrolled), Shadow player Interrupts which negates the action's effects and gives them the Favor because they action was from a Wind (now they have it), action resolves with none of its effects occuring due to being negated, Crane player Responds after the action and takes the Favor (now Crane has the Favor). The end. Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 19 Jun 2024 - Q: @Brook Cunningham Can i cancel this action with [Iweko's Shadow]? or it is not a favor action? or it is Favor action bbecause it favor cost is in costs?
A: Actions with a Favor cost are inherently Favor. Printing the keyword would just be redundant. Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 14 Apr 2024
