Rules Q&A
- Q: [ShE] I would like to better understand the interaction between Overwhelmed and One Shall Stand please. If I play the engage and win the duel and have compassion and my personality has the highest force of my army, does this mean that my opponent cannot play Overwhelmed in this battle? Or does it mean that Overwhelmed would automatically kill my personality since they "cannot be moved" by other player's card effects?
A: There is no reason your opponent could not play Overwhelmed (assuming their highest Force Personality at the battlefield is not the one the duel bowed; if it was, they don't have a legal target for their Overwhelmed). There is insufficient data to determine if your Personality would be destroyed; it would not necessarily be "automatic". Brook Cunningham, "Onyx Lives #rules-questions", 14 Sep 2025
