Rules Q&A
- Q: Can Welcoming Demeanor only be used for it's ability during your own dynasty, or can it be done during the opponent's dynasty?
A: When you discard a card, it goes directly to the discard pile. This is different to playing a card from hand, where it goes to a temporary resolution area or entering play area (depending on whether the ability is on the card or in the rulebook - cards that enter play using their own text do both). Anyway, Breaking Point will be in the discard pile by the time your next opportunity to take an Interrupt comes round.
Dynasty actions are limited by the Rules to only be taken during your own Dynasty Phase; there would have to be an explicit exception in a Dynasty ability to take it on another player's turn. Alex Jones and Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 29 Nov 2023
