Rules Q&A
- Q: If toku tsudao targets a temple of honor with her ability, and I bow the temple as an interrupt... what happens?
A: Very technically, if you choose to take the Interrupt action, you will fail to gain any Honor.
There is a clause in Step E of the action sequence that if you fail to find a legal target during the effects resolution, the action halts and no further effects occur. I fear this may be an accidental holdover from before the "Choose targets" step was added in 20F, but technically, the Interrupt caused the chosen target to be illegal before it was targeted during effects (Temple is no longer "unbowed"), therefore the "stop" clause is invoked (CR pg 38, last sentence of paragraph marked E.).
