Rules Q&A
- Q: So, upon reading the rules on exp personalities and overlaying I noticed that is say that one can only overlay during the Dynasty phase. If I use Your Clan Needs you I can't overlay an exp'd card onto another card with the same title? (for example Daigotsu Gyoken and Daigotsu Gyoken exp 3)
A: That is correct. Your Clan Needs You CANNOT overlay a Personality in your province onto one in play.
Overlaying outside the Dynasty Phase can only be done through a specific effect that allows it, such as Waystation of the Path or Oyo's Second Lesson. Brook Cunningham, "Overlay and Your Clan Needs you", 20 Apr 2012
