- Q: My opponent is in battle with a copy of Daigotsu Meguro Exp., I have one personality without a follower opposing him and he attempts to use his ability. Before he targets my guy, I play Misdirection. I am forced to target my only personality with the first targeting effect giving my personality -3 Force. However, the second effect of the action reads 'you may make a Ranged 3 Attack targeting a legal card in personalities unit'. Does the 'you may' on the card text mean that this is an optional targeting effect and one that I can choose to not find a target for, or does it mean something else all together?
A: That is not what was said.
