Rules Q&A

• Q: Following the thread with the same name
  As of this discussion: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=74517&p=975465&hilit=courage+in+death#p975465
Why isn´t Rekai allowed to attach the follower to a personality at another location and Courage in Death force bonus is?
  Thanks
A: Reactions do not need to follow the Rules of Location or Presence.
Battle actions do. Dan Jacobson, "Daigotsu Rekai Experienced 4", 19 Apr 2009
• Q: If Rekai is at the current battlefeild may I, for her second action, attach the follower onto a personality not at the current battlefeild?
  Relavent text:
Battle: Target a Follower in any discard pile. Permanently give it Shadowlands and Undead. Attach it to one of your target Personalities, paying all costs and ignoring Honor Requirement
A: Rule of Location says that targeted cards in units (like the Personality you'll be attaching the follower to) must be at the current battlefield. Dan Jacobson, "Daigotsu Rekai Experienced 4", 16 Apr 2009
• Q: Hello,
Is Rekai a Spider Clan personality? I see no alignment on the page, however l5rsearch and gempukku both list her as a Spider aligned personality.
Just wondering if there was an errata of some sort that I cannot find.
A: The preview did not have the Spider Clan alignment, but all the actual, real, printed copies do.
This is why we don't answer questions based on card previews, and why it always helps to look at an actual card before asking questions. Zen Faulkes, "Daigotsu Rekai", 31 Jul 2007
• Q: This is a simple question, but it might have some relevance.
I hear that Daigotsu Rekai XP4 has the spider mon in his foil version, and thus, she's considered to be a Spider Clan personality, but she doesn't have the alignment trait.
Is she considered to be a Spider Clan Personality when playing The Spider's Lair? Do I lose honor when I buy her?
A: The printed version of Daigotsu Rekai exp 4 does have the Spider Clan trait. Chris Fuchs, "Daigotsu Rekai xp4 and The Spider's Lair", 26 May 2007
