Rules Q&A
- Q: 2) I checked the FAQ and the Accumulated Rulings, but didn't find mention of this. A Fallen Friend says: "Delayed Terrain Battle: The Defender bows one attacking unit in this battle, then the Attacker bows one defending unit in this battle." If I play it when I have Presence at the battle, then all of my units are destroyed before battle resolution, can I use it's action when the terrain resolves?
A: You aren't using its action. The "Battle:" on a Terrain refers to the action of playing it originally, which you did legally. Its effect is not a new action and does not need to meet Presence or Relevance to occur. It is also mandatory unless written otherwise (which this card is not).
