Rules Q&A
- Q: To pay homage to the Toturi's Army players, who haven't gotten an Open Storyline personality to play since Akodo Ginawa in gold.
A: That's not true. There were multiple Toturi's Army Personalities in 1,000 Years of Darkness. And some are even Diamond legal. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 25 November 2003", 25 Nov 2003 - Q: Let's say I have Rikugunshokan and Akodo Ginawa exp[lots] in play. I use Ginawa-sama's ability to draw a card.
Rikugunshokan: While this Follower is attached, its Personality gains the Tactician trait. You must declare an attack and assign this unit each turn if you can legally do so. If you cannot asign this unit, lose 2 Honor.
Will I lose 2 honor this turn because I did not assign Rikugunshokan to a battle or do I not lose 2 honor because there was no battle to which I could not assign the unit?
A: You lose 2 because you could not assign the unit. Jeff Alexander, "post for 17 October 2002", 18 Oct 2002 - Q: I have another questions too:
2- Say I play an Ambush ( thus declaring an attack phase ) or Jaws of victory (another attack phase) and still, in my Limited phase play AFTER doing this the Limited on Akodo Ginawa ( for memory, Limited: Once per turn, draw a card. You cannot declare an attack this turn).
A: What's your question? Is it legal to use Akodo Ginawa's action after declaring attacks earlier in the Action Phase? Yes. Jeff Alexander, "post for 4 February 2002", 5 Feb 2002
