Rules Q&A
- Q: Does the Soul Sword token created when you cast the Soul Sword count as a "card" for the purposes of attaching to Doji Kazo, Tsurayaki, et al?
A: No. The only type of token that automatically counts as a card as well as a token is a Follower token. [GE p. 40] Jeff Alexander, "post for 7 April 2003", 9 Apr 2003 - Q: 10.) Tokens count as cards for a lot of things. Will Doji Kazo attach tokens?
A: Token Followers are the only type of token which automatically counts as both a token and a card. [DA rulebook p. 44] All other tokens may attach to Kazo...unless, of course, the thing that creates those tokens explicitly says they're cards, thus invoking the First Cardinal Rule.
