- He remembers his father's words from when they huddled about a ronin's fire. He had dreamed through childhood of the day when the Akodo would return. Ronin no more, he will stand by his Clan and make his family's name ring from the halls of honor once more.

Rules Q&A
- Q: For instance, if I have Akodo Ijiasu in play with Yakamo's Claw attached as well as three Ashuras, if Ijiasu also gets the Porcelain Mask, Do I get 5 Porcelain tokens or 9 Porcelain tokens?
A: Only 5, sorry. Jeff Alexander, "post for 12 May 2003", 13 May 2003 - Q: Let`s say we are in a battle were I have one Tactician (i.e. Akodo Ijiasu) opposed by a big Scorpion army.
It is my turn and I play a terrain (any)
Can I use Akodo Yobi reaction to draw a card if he is at home?
A: Yes. Also if he's at a different battle. It counts as a use of Tactician for the battle underway. Jeff Alexander, "post for 18 February 2003", 19 Feb 2003 - Q: Does this mean that we can expect an errata of Akodo Ijiasu with the Unique trait, for the sake of balance?
A: No. Ijiasu wasn't printed with the trait originally and accidentally reprinted without it later. Jeff Alexander, "post for 16 December 2002", 17 Dec 2002 - Q: I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but here goes ...
Quote from the rulebook (p.65): "... as a Battle action once per battle per Tactician, target the Tactician and discard a card from his or her hand to raise the Tactian's Force by the card's Focus value until the turn ends."
Example of situation: 1) Akodo Ijiasu (or any other Tactician) is in battle A, uses Tactician trait to get a force bonus. 2) "Superior Tactics" (or any other "move to another province" effect) to battle B. 3)Akodo Ijiasu uses Tactitian trait abilitly again to gain a cumulative force gain from both bonuses.
A: Yeah, sure. That sounds perfectly fine to me. Matter of fact, I've got a really cool Shinjo Yokatsu story that revolves around just such a trick. But that's a story for another day... Vaughn Derderian, "Rules for August 22nd, Part Two", 22 Aug 2001
