Rulings
- Erratum: Reads, "Draw Your Blade 0G 3FV Battle: Bow a target enemy card without attachments. Battle: Dishonor one of your target Personalities: Bow a target card opposing him." Rules Q&A
- Q: Does the additional action granted by Superior Strategist have to be performed by the Tactician who performed Superior Strategist?
Can I for example use Superior Strategist to search for a Draw Your Blade and use a different personality to pay the cost of dishonouring to bow a card with attachments?
A: Nowhere on Superior Strategist's text does it say that the additional action granted by Superior Strategist's text must be performed by the Tactician that performed Superior Strategist.
The additional action may be performed by any legal personality that can perform it. Dan Jacobson, "Superior Strategist's additional action", 30 Nov 2008 - Q: Ihave Joesmoe A with a follower attached attacking a province with a random defender present. (H)e wants to use dissent to bow the follower, is that a legal target(?)
A: Yes.
http://rules.l5r.com/Glossary_A#Attach: "A Personality card is not considered attached to its attachment card. Thus, Followers, Items, Spells, and so on are always considered 'cards without attachments.'" Zen Faulkes, "Dissent and Draw Your Blade Question", 9 Apr 2008 - Q: If I have two copies of Purge the Weak in play, my first Battle action is to use Draw Your Blade to bow a personality, and then I react in succession to that action with both copies of Purge the Weak, would my opponent be able to react to the first action I am granted by Purge the Weak before I play the action granted by the second one?
A: This is too vague to answer, since it would depend on what the text of the reaction to be played in between. Zen Faulkes, "Multiple Purge the Weak and Timing", 2 Feb 2008
