- Q: The targetting rules confuse me
Can I target a personality that already has the duelist trait?
A: Well, first the nitpickery; Duelist is a keyword, not a trait.
Secondly, yes, you can target a Duelist.
Targeting is not usually limited by the effects that will happen, only by the adjectives in the targeting itself. My answer would only be "no" to your question if Emerald Competitor said, "Give one of your target non-Duelist Samurai Personalities Duelist." Brook Cunningham, "Emerald Competitor", 21 May 2009 - Q: I know the list which contains the legal promos does not contain Clan Standard, but it was released in the same pack that contain Emerald Competitor and Emerald Armor, both of which are legal to play. Why is it that Clan Standard does not appear on the list? Any particular reason for this?
