Rules Q&A
- Q: Exotic Goods: Does the may in "His controller may bow him." allow a Last One personality to bow for this or does the negation provided by the last one automatically override it?
A: The Last One prevents any effect from another player's card that would bow the Personality. Yes, even if the controller would like to bow the Personality. And yes, it is still an effect from another player's action, even if the controller of the Personality affected by the last one is making the decision to apply it or not.
And note that Exotic Goods looks for whether the card bowed, not what the controller decided or chose. Zen Faulkes, "The Last One Personality + Exotic Goods", 12 Mar 2011
