Rules Q&A
- Q: If I used Failure of Courage on Hida Kuon (Experienced 6) as my first Battle action, would Kuon move home?
A: No, he will not move.
The Experienced 6 Hida Kuon's trait looks for the "enemy leader's first action that targeted Kuon", not the "first action in which the enemy leader targets Kuon."
For Kuon's trait, who owns the action matters; who does the targeting does not.
Correction: Because the target is not required targeting (not done by person playing the action), it occurs during effect resolution and cannot be affected by Kuon's trait.
Sorry for the confusion. Zen Faulkes, "Hida Kuon (Experienced 6): The compilation", 4 Jul 2009
