- The uneasy resumption of peace between the Crane and the Mantis was not liked by all, but all obeyed. They simply found more acceptable outlets for their rivalries.

Rules Q&A
- Q: According to the rulebook
After drawing all cards at the end of your turn, if you have more cards in hand than the maximum, you must choose and discard cards from your hand until you no longer have too many.
This means that if I play A Game of Dice during my Action Phase, I will draw my normal card during my Dynasty Phase, then another 2 from AGoD before my turn ends, and then I will discard to my current maximum (if needed).
What happens with effects like In Stillness, Forge the Soul targeting a Kensai and not Equiping a weapon? The card reads: "...you may put this Strategy back in your hand before the turn ends".
Does this mean I can trump the maximum hand size and end my turn with 9 cards?
For Legacy fans, does Prayers & Blessings works the same way?
A: "Before the turn ends" means immediately before the turn ends. This will be after you discard down to maximum hand size, so In Stillness, Forge the Soul would allow you to carry an extra card into the next turn. Jon Palmer, "End of turn + In Stillness, Forge the Soul", 5 Mar 2014 - Q: My opponent draws a card with Peddler (for example), then plays A Game of Dice. Can I respond with Indecision after they draw the cards from AGoD at the end of their turn?
A Game of Dice:Limited: Draw two additional cards during your next End Phase.
Indecision:Reaction: After an action resolves, if its player has resolved two or more actions which put cards into his hand this phase: He discards two cards.
In other words, does Indecision trigger from the actions being played, or the cards being drawn?
Many thanks!
A: No, because, as I explained above, Indecision only triggers if the card draws are in the same phase. Alex Jones, "Indecision, Scorpion Wall, Sincerity of the Dragon", 18 May 2012 - Q: First of all, sorry if it was posted already but i didnt find it.
Basically this: how does these two cards interact?
Based on this rulling for Toritaka Horoiso and lying in ambush (CE), i would think that A game of dice resolves long before you draw the additional cards, so you shouldnt be able to react with Kimi. If this is not the case, could you explain how the interaction works?
Thanks!
Isawa Kimi: Reaction: Even if Kimi is bowed, after the resolution of an action that put any cards into another player's hand: That player chooses and discards a card from his hand.
A game of Dice: Limited: Draw two additional cards during your next End Phase.
A: You are correct. Kimi's reaction will do nothing to the player of A Game of Dice. Jon Palmer, "Isawa Kimi and A Game of Dice", 13 Mar 2012 - Q: Rosoku Sensei vs A game of dice:
If a player has already drawn a card during their limited phase, would they get the two cards during End? that sounds like a silly question on paper, but Game of Dice is a Limited action
A: Right, so even though the cards would come at you later, the effect would be negated and not happen later. Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 30 May 2024
