Rules Q&A
- Q: Does this Region reduce the honor requirement of a Personality that requires a family honor of "0" to a dash? Or to -1?
A: Dark Allies rulebook, pg. 31: Honor requirements can go below zero. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 25 May 2002", 26 May 2002 - Q: About "Soul of XXXs, appart from the rare promo ( I need to collect those ones... ;-) ) some personalities changed family name, do they count as having their old family name or the "Soul of XXX" name? For example Fukurokujin Seido.
A: If you are playing in a Strict Gold format game, you use the older XXX Personality as a proxy for the "Soul of XXX" Personality in EVERY WAY, including changes to family name and miscellaneous traits. (You are, in effect, treating the "Soul of XXX" card as a Most Recent Printing of the older "XXX" card.)
If you are playing Open, play all cards as written. Jeff Alexander, "post for 28 February 2002", 1 Mar 2002
