Hitomi may perform Kiho actions as if she were a Shugenja, and when she performs a Kiho action, it is considered a Ninja action instead of a Kiho action when targeting it and resolving its effects.

- Q: Is Goju Hitomi considered the Most-Recent Printing of Hitomi Experienced 3 from Hidden Emperor? Goju Hitomi says "Experienced 3 Mirumoto Hitomi" and doesn't have the little KYD mark. A: Goju Hitomi is her own card and not an MRP. None of the cards in 1,000 Years are reprintings of existing cards. We tried to put the KYD mark only on cards that had exact title conflicts with existing or potential future cards in the main storyline, so it is not always present. Rules Q&A
- Q: 2. Would Goju Hitomi count for the Death of Onnotangu event?
A: Of course. She's Experienced 3 Mirumoto Hitomi just like Hitomi is Experienced 2 Mirumoto Hitomi. (card text) Martin Lund, "Rules for 4 June 2004", 6 Jun 2004 - Q: if a spell cast by Hoseki or a Kiho by Goju Hitomi, which both are considered ninja effects when used, make a dark path of shadow player lose honor.?
A: Yes. That a card produces a "keyword" effect does not make it a "keyword" card. E.g., kiho produce spell effects, but are not spell cards.
