• Q: I've got a question about Gold Buys Security and Gozoku Sensei. When I'm using one of ratling strongholds I've got 1 starting honor lowered to 0 from sensei - so can I play GBS on every personality paying 0 gold?
  A: Gold Buys Security says, "This card's Gold cost equals your starting Family Honor (minimum of 1) times the number of other Personalities targeted."
  "(minimum of 1)" pretty much says it all right there, doesn't it? If your starting Family Honor is less than 1, you still get stuck with the minimum of 1. Martin Lund, "Rules for 14 July 2004", 16 Jul 2004
• Q: Hi, I've an hope (not a question, just an hope) about "Gold Buys Security": It seems that its effect is permanent (and it's so expensive that it must be!),
  A: Incorrect. The effect does not say it is permanent. The duration is, by default, until the end of the turn. You can possibly assign and move a Personality into battle more than once a turn, btw, which is why the card says, "each time" even though it only lasts one turn.   Crane Clan Thunder. Courtier. Disciple of the Kami. Experienced 7. Unique. Loyal May overlay any Crane Clan Courtier you control. Reaction: After Konishiko enters play or overlays: Once per game, search your hand and discard pile for a Political Action card. Permanently give her one of its Limited or Open actions; she may take the action once per turn and bows as an added effect. Remove the card from the game.
  What happens when Konishiko takes the ability from GBS? Can she target everyone an opponent has and in consequence and result in changing her gold cost? Is this change in gold cost (if it exists) permanent? Or is it until end of turn (most likely)?
