Rules Q&A
- Q: Player is defending or attacking with 2 personalities, one of which has Hardy Infantry attached. the Unit with Hardy Infantry is Wedged. At the end of the battle, what happens?
A: If your units were attacking, allying, or this was the last battle, your units are going to be sent home from the battle before the "at end of battle" or "when a battle ends" triggers take effect. That means Wedge will kill your unit after it returns to the fief and is no longer in an army, making Hardy Infantry's Reaction unplayable.
If you are the defender and there are yet more battles to resolve, your unit will still be at the battle until the end of the last battle, and consequently still in an army to move the Hardy Infantry. Martin Lund, "Rules for 5 June 2004", 7 Jun 2004
