Rules Q&A
- Q: If you attack a Hellbeast to a cavalry personality, and they lose the cavalry trait, does it cancel BOTH traits at the same time?
A: Yes. Traits are either present or they're not -- a card cannot have a trait twice. Giving a trait to a card that already possesses it does not make it extra resilient against effects that remove the trait later. Jeff Alexander, "post for 8 May 2003", 9 May 2003 - Q: I'm pretty good about remembering past rulings, and I'm pretty good about seeing what a ruling will most likely be (most of the time), but there's still room for stupid questions. :)
Hellbeast is an Item, right? It looks like an item, but it doesn't feel like one.
A: The preview is, in fact, an Item card. Jeff Alexander, "post for 20 September 2002", 21 Sep 2002
