Rules Q&A

• Q: If i attach blade of slaughter to one of my unicorn personalities and then prevent them from becoming dishonored with Ide Tang's reaction, does the blade gain +2/+2.
A: No. You must make a transition from dishonored to honorable. Zen Faulkes, "Rules for 14 December 2003", 14 Dec 2003
• Q: Also, can my opponent use Ide Tang to keep the person from becoming dishonored and thereby still gain the honor for bringing them into play, or does the dishonoring happen while they are still in the province keeping Tang from being able to target them (I think that's right, but I may be wrong; hell, if I knew, I wouldn't ask, neh?).
A: The latter. Tang cannot target a card not yet in play. Jeff Alexander, "post for 22 May 2003", 23 May 2003
• Q: How does interact the blade of slaughter with Ide Tang reaction?
  Relevant texts:
Blade: Dishonor this Personality after playing Blade of Slaughter. The next time this Personality becomes honorable, the Blade permanently gains +2F/+2C, and this Personality may not become dishonored while this Blade remains attached. Force +0
Ide tang: Political Reaction: Bow Tang before one of your Personalities is dishonored to negate the dishonoring.
A: The Personality will not be dishonored from attaching the Blade, but he now must become dishonored by some separate source and then restored before the Blade's bonuses happen. Jeff Alexander, "post for 19 May 2003", 21 May 2003
