Q: Is there a time during the resolution of Superior Strategist that I could react with a Determination?
A: No. Determination is played "Before you announce an action." The effects of Superior Strategist are the card search and the granting of an additional action, neither of which is affected by Ide Towako or Swift Counterattack. The additional action is announced, targeted, paid for and resolved after the end of Superior Strategist's resolution: to prevent the negation of the additional action's effects you need to play Determination (immediately) before you announce the additional action. Q: Does Determination's protection from negation, and additional effects, extend to an additional action taken from the Determination'd action (i.e.: a kill effect played off of a Determination'd Superior Strategist)?
