Rules Q&A

• Q: Can an action be cancelled by, for example, Kyuuden Ikoma, if its RA effect has been modified by 'No Hiding Place'?
A: Yes. "No Hiding Place" is timed well before the timing required for Kyuden Ikoma. It happens during the Targeting of an Action, and Kyuden Ikoma happens before the Effects of the Action would resolve. Martin Lund, "Rules for 5 December 2004", 9 Dec 2004
• Q: Can I use Ikoma yasuko's reaction to negate the destruction of my attacking personality if that personality died during battle resolution? If so what happened to that personality? Will he return home then? Thank you
A: Sure. He'll go home like any other Attacking Unit that's alive when the time comes to return to the Fief. Same thing goes for Hida Sozen. Martin Lund, "Akodo Sadahige outmaneuvered by tactics and yasuko", 3 Apr 2005
• Q: Is focusing in a duel with a card playing the card?
A: No, unless the card says so via special text. Zen Faulkes, "Ring of Air and Focusing vs Playing and Ikoma storyteller", 23 Mar 2005
• Q: Can you ring of air to straighten the personality who cast the Kiho that allowed you to play the RoA?
A: Archive, Ring of Air. Zen Faulkes, "Ring of Air and Focusing vs Playing and Ikoma storyteller", 23 Mar 2005
• Q: Can the Ikoma that gives +1/+1 to Lion who win an opposed battle use that ability on himself if he was in the battle?
A: Please give titles. There are a lot of Ikoma Personalities out there, and a lot of questions to answer, and I don't like guessing games. Zen Faulkes, "Ring of Air and Focusing vs Playing and Ikoma storyteller", 23 Mar 2005
